("MountainWood Painting", "we", "us", or "our"), a painting company based in Collingwood, Ontario. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These terms cover the website only. Any painting work we do for you is governed by the written quote you accept and any written contract we sign with you.

Estimates and quotes

• Information on this website, including service descriptions, timelines, product information, and anything describing how we price or schedule work, is general information. It is not an offer, a quote, or a promise to do any particular work at any particular price.
• Our estimates are free, and asking for one does not oblige you to hire us.
• Sending us an estimate request, whether through a form, by phone, by email, or by text, does not create a contract between you and us. We may decline any request.
• Any price, scope, or schedule we discuss before giving you a written quote, whether in person, by phone, or in a message, is an estimate only and is not binding on you or on us.
• An agreement to do work exists only once we have given you a written quote and you have accepted it. The written quote, and any written contract that goes with it, sets out the work, the price, and the terms that apply, and takes priority over anything on this website.
• If the scope of work changes, or we find conditions once work begins that could not reasonably be seen beforehand, the price may change. We will discuss any change with you before doing extra work.

Information on this website

• We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or information that is out of date, and we may change it at any time without notice.
• Descriptions of products, how long finishes last, and how surfaces weather are general guidance based on our experience. Results depend on each surface, its condition, its exposure, and how it is maintained.
• The only commitments we make about our work are the ones in your written quote or contract. Nothing on this website is a warranty or guarantee.

Photos, colours, and reviews

• Photos on this website show past projects and are for illustration. Your results will depend on your property, its surfaces, and the products and colours chosen.
• Colours look different on different screens and in different light, and may not match the actual paint or stain. Please check physical samples before choosing a colour.
• Reviews on this website are quoted from public reviews posted by our customers, mainly on Google. Longer reviews are sometimes shortened, but we do not change their wording.

Ownership of content

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your enquiry, estimate, scheduling, and project, and, where the law allows, occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of getting an estimate or hiring us. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The website links to websites we do not control, such as Google, Facebook, and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and their own terms apply when you use them.

Disclaimer

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about the website, including that it will be accurate, complete, always available, or free of errors or viruses.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect. If we do not enforce any part of these terms, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
