This custom home was given a full exterior transformation that really highlights its beauty and uniqueness. All cedar shakes were stained with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Woodluxe solid stain. All trim, beams, and doors were painted with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore exterior paint. All window frames on the home were carefully prepped, and then painted with 2 coats.

Jake prepared a detailed quote for painting cedar shakes, trim and windows of my rural home. A week of prep followed by spraying, roll and brush. Aleks and crew came daily except for weekends and rain days until completion. Professional workmanship and communication. I am happy with the result. I would use MWP again for future painting.

Do you come out this far?
Yes, regularly, and we do not charge extra for the drive. Creemore, Nottawa, and the properties in between are all normal for us. The custom home above is in the hills outside the village.
Should our cedar be painted or stained?
Almost always stained. Cedar moves too much for a paint film to stay put, so paint lifts and stain soaks in. We use Benjamin Moore Woodluxe solid stain, which holds colour like paint without the peeling.
Can you do the barn and the sheds too?
Yes, and it usually looks better if we do. On a nearby property we took the house, the barn, and two sheds in the same deep stain, and the whole place reads as one property because of it.
